Cílem práce je představit systém preventivní politiky na Jesenicku a zjistit, jakým způsobem jsou preventivní programy pro děti a mládež financovány a kdo je hlavní realizátor těchto programů, popsat některé minulé i aktuální preventivní programy a přiblížit jejich činnost. A v poslední části práce, zhodnotit činnost těchto preventivních programů za pomoci ankety. V prvních třech kapitolách se hovoří obecně o prevenci kriminality dětí a mládeže na území České republiky a ve vybraných státech. Čtvrtá kapitola popisuje Jesenicko. Ve zbylých kapitolách je popsáno, jak funguje prevenční politika v jesenickém regionu, kdo tuto politiku zaštiťuje a z jakých zdrojů je financována a kdo tyto zdroje využívá. Dále jsou zde popsány hlavní cíle v oblasti prevence kriminality na tomto území a kroky, kterými jsou cíle plněny. V posledních dvou kapitolách jsou popsány vybrané prevenční programy, které byly na Jesenicku zrealizovány od roku 1996 až do současnosti a je zde popsán výsledek ankety, jejímiž respondenty byli obyvatelé regionu, na téma vnímání bezpečnosti a vlivu preventivních programů. Purpose of this thesis is to introduce prevention politics in Jeseník region and to examine how are these programmes for children and adolescents financed and who mainly realizes them, describe some past and current preventive programmes and make insight into their activities. In the last part of the thesis will be evaluation of activities of these programmes using an survey. First three chapters generally describe the juvenile crime prevention in the Czech Republic and some other states. In the fourth chapter, the demography of the Jeseník district is described. Last four chapters deal with prevention politics and how it works in the Jesenik district and who is in charge of the policy, which financial resourses are used and which organizations make use of these resourses. Moreover, the reader is told about the main objectives of the crime prevention in this area and about the process of fulfilling the aims. The last two chapters describe selected prevention programmes which have been implimented in the Jesenik district since 1996 up to now. And the questionnaire results are shown there. The questionnaire was carried out in the Jesenik district and its topic was perceiving safety and impact of prevention programmes.
