Bakalářská práce s názvem "Význam přátelství či přátelského vztahu mezi klientem a pastoračním pracovníkem" s podnázvem "Sonda do aspektů přátelství v pastorační práci vězeňského kaplana" si klade za cíl nahlédnout do profesní role vězeňského kaplana a zjistit, zdali je ve vztahu pastorační pracovník - odsouzený prostor pro vznik přátelství, či přátelského vztahu. K tomu je třeba tento vztah také vymezit. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. V první části je představena pastorační práce obecně. Neméně důležitý je i specifický pohled pastoračního pracovníka na klienta. Ve druhé části je popsána pastorační služba ve věznicích a je vymezen legislativní rámec jako východisko pro působnost pastoračních pracovníků ve věznicích. Součástí je i zmínka o historii kaplanské služby a aktuální situace v České republice. Blíže je kapitola zaměřena na roli vězeňského kaplana, pastorační práci ve věznicích a specifika klientů. V poslední části je vymezeno přátelství z různých pohledů - Aristotelovo pojetí, biblické pojetí, aspekt přátelství a míra osobního rozměru v pomáhajících profesích. Kapitola pojednává o předpokladech pro vznik přátelství, či přátelského vztahu a jeho nezastupitelnosti a důležitosti v životě člověka. My bachelor's thesis titled "The importance of friendship and friendly relationships between a client and a pastor worker" and subtitled "A deeper look into the pastoral work of a prison chaplain" hopes to accurately bring to light the role of a prison chaplain and to find out, if in a relationship between a pastoral worker and an inmate there is any possibility of friendship and to what depth it can go. The assignment is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter, it introduces a general look at pastoral work. In the sub-chapter, it covers the definition of a professional relationship. It also covers the view of a pastoral worker towards the client. In the second chapter, it describes pastoral work in prisons, the legislative boundaries that act as a base for the work of pastoral workers in prisons, the history of prison chaplains in the Czech Republic and the role they have today. This is described to more depth in the sub-chapter about the work of pastoral workers in prisons and the demands of their clients. In the last chapter, it defines friendship based on different theories - Aristoteles's definition, the Bible's definition and our own personal definition.
