Bakalářská práce s názvem "Ochrana práv osob s mentálním postižením v pobytové sociální službě organizace DC Paprsek" si klade za cíl objasnit problematiku ochrany práv osob s mentálním postižením a vyhodnotit, jak organizace DC Paprsek chrání základní lidská práva uživatelů pobytové sociální služby chráněné bydlení. Ve své práci popisuji význam lidských práv jako východiska pro teorii a praxi v oblasti sociálních služeb. Jednou ze skupin, která je ve zvýšené míře ohrožená porušováním základních lidských práv, jsou lidé s mentálním postižením. Část mé práce se zabývá právě problematikou ochrany práv lidí s mentálním postižením. Pro objasnění této problematiky je důležité kromě vymezení pojmu "základní lidská práva" se také ve zkratce zmínit o změnách po roce 1989. V poslední části mé práce představuji organizaci DC Paprsek a popisuji a vyhodnocuji způsob ochrany základních lidských práv v chráněném bydlení podle platné legislativy. This bachelor thesis, entitled "Protection of human rights among people with learning disabilities within residential social services of organization DC Paprsek", aims to clarify human rights issues and the protection of people with learning disabilities, as well as to evaluate how the organization DC Paprsek protects the human rights of their residents within the residential social services sheltered housing. I describe a sence of human rights as a solution to a theory and practice in social work in my bachelor thesis. One of the groups most endangered by human rights abuses are people with learning disabilities. One part of my bachelor thesis pursues the problem of human rights protection of people with learning disabilities. Describing the social changes seen since 1989 is important in defining the concept of human rights. In the last part of my thesis, I describe and evaluate the method of fundamental human rights protection in sheltered housing according to valid legislation.
