V této práci se zabývám tématem psychicky nemocných a týraných seniorů, kteří byli umístěni do psychiatrické léčebny. V teoretické části práce jsem se pokusila popsat pojmy, jako je domácí násilí, dále domácí násilí v rodině a také násilí páchané na seniorech. Rozepsala jsem druhy domácího týrání a zneužívání a zmínila jsem několik forem domácího násilí a týrání, které v těchto případech bylo na nemocných seniorech pácháno. Vysvětlila jsem pojmy jako je stáří, senior a jeho rodina. Popsala jsem různé formy a fáze psychických nemocí a chování pacientů, kteří těmito nemoci trpí. Dále jsem vysvětlila pojmy, jako je demence a rozepsala její formy a klasifikace. V další části se věnuji možnostem pomoci těmto seniorům a uvádím služby pro oběti domácího násilí. Zmínila jsem řešení těchto krizových situací, jako je například zbavení způsobilosti, dále institut vykázání a to s ohledem na Občanský zákoník. Další část je věnována roli sociálního pracovníka a jeho edukaci s rodinou. Pomoc sociálního pracovníka pacientovi spočívá v odhalení, zmírnění nebo odstranění negativních důsledků nemoci u seniora. Vzhledem k tomu, že dnes představují senioři velmi početnou část obyvatel, jsou tito lidé velice početnou skupinou klientů sociálních pracovníků. In this bachelor thesis I was concerned with topic of mentally ill and mistreated seniors, who were placed in a psychiatric hospital. In the theoretical part I tried to describe the concept of domestic violence, after that domestic violence in the family and also domestic violence committed against seniors. I elaborated on kinds of domestic abuse and maltreatment, and I mentioned several forms of domestic violence and abuse, which in these cases were committed against mentally ill seniors. I explained concepts such as ageing, senior and his family. I described the various forms and phases of the mental illness and behaviour of patients, who suffer from these diseases. I explained concepts such as dementia and her forms and classifications. The next section is devoted to the possibilities to help these seniors and I also introduce the services for victims of domestic violence. I mentioned dealing with these crisis situations such as deprivation of legal capacity and the institute of expulsion, with regard to the Civil law. Next part is devoted to the role of the social worker and his education with family. The assistance of a social worker to a patient lies in revelation, moderation or elimination of the negative consequence of the disease by the senior.
