Bakalářská práce se věnuje současnému postoji české majoritní společnosti k lidem s mentálním postižením a jejich možnostem integrace. Popisuje sociální službu sociálně terapeutické dílny a vliv zaměření sociálně pracovní terapie na míru participace uživatelů na životě majoritní společnosti. Ukazuje na usnadnění integračních snah v případě koncentrace pozornosti dílny na uživatele i na veřejnost a ve výzkumné části na příkladu dvou činností sociálně pracovní terapie, kavárny a pekárny, porovnává zájmy uživatelů se zájmy zákazníků. Následně ukazuje, jaké strategie uplatňují zaměstnanci STD, aby dosáhli naplnění zájmů uživatelů i zákazníků, resp. obyvatelstva dané lokality. Výzkumná část popisuje také přínosy sociálně pracovní terapie pro lidi s mentálním postižením, pro zákazníky kavárny i pro místní komunitu. Ta se vlivem těchto přínosů dostává přirozeněji do interakce s těmito lidmi a setkání s nimi se stává čím dál příjemnějším zážitkem. Práce dochází k závěru, že existují možnosti propojení práce sociálně terapeutických dílen s naplněním zájmů společnosti. A výsledkem takového propojení je i usnadnění integrace uživatelů této sociální služby do majoritní společnosti. This bachelor's thesis, Connection between the Work of the Social Therapy Workshops and Interests of the Society, pursues current attitude of the Czech majority society to the people with mental disability and their opportunity to integrate. It describes the social service of Social Therapy Workshop and the influence of a direction of social-work therapy on the level of participation of users on the life of the majority society. It points to facilitate the integration efforts in the case of concentration of Social Therapy Workshop attention to users and also to the society. In the research-part the thesis compares the interests of users and customers in an example of two activities of social-work therapy - a café and a bakery. After that it shows, which strategies use the employees of the Social Therapy Workshop, so that they reach the fulfilment of customers, or rather the inhabitants of that locality. The rsearch-part also describes benefits of the social-work therapy for the people with a mental disability, for customers of the café and for a local community. The local community gets in touch with these people more naturally and meetings with them becomes a more pleasant experience.
